Our History

Ridley Park Presbyterian Church first held services in the Spring and Summer of 1873 in the station house of the Philadelphia, Wilmington & Baltimore Railroad.   From that humble beginning we have steadily grown and are extremely proud of our beautiful church where we worship today.  Our congregation ranges in age from infant to our oldest member who is over 100 years old, with all ages represented in between, and we enjoy each other’s company in worship and fellowship. 

As you browse our website, you will see the many activities that fill our calendar, and we are especially fond of events where food is involved!  There are many such events, including coffee hour on the last Sunday of each month, covered dish dinners, Easter breakfast, our annual Strawberry Festival in June, and Sing for Your Supper early in December (featuring caroling and a visit from Santa himself). 

We are pleased to be part of a church family that continues to grow spirituality as well as in numbers.
